LEGO EVENT
To round off the week, we hosted a lively Lego Club session on Wednesday, bringing together local children, parents, and volunteers for an afternoon of creativity and fun. The theme was windmills, inspired by the trail’s connection to local heritage and sustainability. Tables were filled with colourful bricks, and the room buzzed with excitement as young builders let their imaginations run wild. From towering wind turbines to whimsical spinning designs, the creations were as diverse as they were inventive.
Parents joined in too, helping their children bring ideas to life and sharing in the joy of collaborative play. The event wasn’t just about building—it was about bonding, learning, and celebrating the spirit of innovation. A panel of friendly judges awarded prizes for the most imaginative and well-engineered designs, with every participant receiving a small token of appreciation for their enthusiasm.
The Lego Club was a fitting and heart warming finale to our launch week, highlighting the importance of engaging our younger generation in village life and creative expression. It was a reminder that community projects like the Heritage Trail are not only about preserving the past, but also about inspiring the future.
